Jay DeFeo and The Rose: Myth and Reality

The recently published book Jay DeFeo and The Rose reexamines DeFeo's work, bringing new voices and scholarship to bear on one of the Bay Area's most original artists. This event features a stellar group of the book's contributors and DeFeo's friends and associates discussing the artist and her work. Additionally, there will be a screening of Bruce Conner's film The White Rose, followed by a book signing in the Haas Atrium.
