In conjunction with ArtGameLab, we present a panel discussion on game design, gaming culture, gamification, and the rise of so-called “serious games” — games played for an educational or training objective instead of for entertainment. The panel looks at these issues through the lens of museums and the educational, social, and experiential functions they can serve. Arrive early to play the games in ArtGameLab before the discussion.
