Be among the very first to set foot in our new Rooftop Garden at the members-only preview. This exciting extension of SFMOMA is not just a fresh space for viewing art, it also offers a new way to experience art: in the open air, high above the bustle of the streets. In addition to providing a place for visitors to enjoy sculptures by some of the most important artists of our time, the Rooftop Garden offers a place to rest, reflect, chat, enjoy a coffee, and see the San Francisco skyscape from a whole new perspective. SFMOMA’s reinstalled contemporary painting and sculpture exhibition, Between Art and Life, also will be on view in the fifth-floor galleries, along with a commissioned work by local artist Rosana Castrillo Díaz on the new Rooftop Garden bridge.
