SFMOMA presents a group of photographs by three South African artists that depict a vital, difficult, and contested period in the country’s history. In this workshop, presented in conjunction with South Africa in Apartheid and After: David Goldblatt, Ernest Cole, Billy Monk, educators will enjoy a private tour of the exhibition and will explore the complex ways each of these photographers has addressed issues of apartheid and its aftermath in South Africa.
