Often considered to be the definitive live concert film, The Last Waltz is Martin Scorsese’s 35mm documentation of The Band’s farewell performance at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom in 1976. With guest appearances from Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Emmylou Harris, Dr. John, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Ringo Starr, Muddy Waters, Neil Young, and Bob Dylan (who The Band had once played with as backing musicians), this last dance brings everyone to the dance floor.
