Join us for the second annual presentation of this engaging lecture series. Keller provides a broad overview of the history of photography while exploring key topics and areas of the Museum's collection in greater depth. Lectures cover nineteenth-century portraiture, the California landscape, European avant-garde photographic practice, and photography as a contemporary medium. The series culminates with a visit to SFMOMA's Graphic Study Room to view photographs from the collection.
