Topping Out Celebration

The steel outline of our building expansion has reached ever greater heights in recent months, and now it’s time to celebrate!

Join museum and community leaders, friends, and neighbors to see the highest beam lifted into place on our expanded building, and cheer #FutureSFMOMA with music, food, and festivities.

noon – 2:00 p.m.

Take in live musical performances from the Balboa High School Band, Brazilian drumming group Batalá San Francisco, and members of the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars.

Enjoy savory and sweet bites from local food trucks and stands Bacon Bacon, Curry Up Now, Garden Creamery, and Sugar & Spun.

Hear from SFMOMA Director Neal Benezra and other guest speakers, and join us for the beam-raising ceremony.
