Focusing on the exhibitions The Provoke Era, Photography Now, Picturing Modernity, and Richard Avedon: Photographs 1946-2004, this institute explores the ways photographs construct and present identity. Participants will consider this theme in relation to these four very different exhibitions. The program includes a private gallery tour of the exhibitions with Lisa Sutcliffe, assistant curator of photography, as well as a photography-based studio session for educators.
