Join SFMOMA for an evening of discussion reflecting on the role of culture as an active voice in the construction and shaping of the contemporary city. Craig Dykers of Snøhetta will speak about his observations and his practice in relation to the expanded SFMOMA building. Cheryl Haines of San Francisco’s FOR-SITE Foundation will explore the value of art in public space. Shannon Jackson of UC Berkeley will discuss the role of artists in making places vital, both locally and globally. Together, they will delve into issues essential to the future of San Francisco.
