Since the late 1970s, Swiss artists Peter Fischli and David Weiss have captivated audiences with their extraordinary depictions of the commonplace. This exhibition was organized by Elizabeth Armstrong, former curator of the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, and present chief curator of the San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art. The San Francisco presentation was organized by Gary Garrels, SFMOMA Elise S. Haas chief curator and curator of painting and sculpture.
