Celebrating Family, Fun And Art At SFMOMA With Two Different Programs: Family Studio And Family Day

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) continues its popular Family Studio activities on the third Sunday of the month from noon to 3 p.m. Each month a different hands-on activity is linked to the Museum’s collections. Activities are designed for children up to 10 years of age.

What
SFMOMA’s Family Studio presents a different hands-on art activity that is linked to the Museum’s collections. Prior registration is not necessary.

Admission
Included in Museum admission: $10 for adults; $7 for senior citizens; $6 for students with valid ID; free to SFMOMA members and children 12 and under accompanied by an adult. For more information, the public may contact the SFMOMA Education Department at 415/357-4097.

NOTE:

On Sunday, October 20, SFMOMA presents Family Day, a daylong celebration with hands-on art projects, docent-led gallery activities, music and performances. A special reduced admission fee makes it easier for parents to use the Museum as an educational resource for the whole family. Activities are designed for children 10 years and younger, although older brothers and sisters are welcome. Admission to Family Day is $2 for adults (includes Museum admission; must be accompanied by a child); free for children and high school students with ID. Prior registration is not necessary.
