Art appreciation doesn’t have to be just a daytime activity. SFMOMA is open late on Thursdays! Wind down in your favorite gallery after work, or energize your weekend with a visit to one of our many thrilling special exhibitions. Cap off your experience with drinks or a meal at one of our cafes and a browse in our Museum Store.

From 4–8 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month, Bay Area residents can enjoy free general admission to SFMOMA’s galleries. First Thursdays also feature live programs that highlight exhibitions on view.
