Bay Area photographer Michael Jang discusses his experience capturing both local and famous punk bands on film—including the Sex Pistols, who played their final concert in San Francisco in 1978. He describes taking pictures the morning after the gig, when Jang ran into disheveled frontman Johnny Rotten at the musician’s hotel in Japantown.
