The museum will be closed September 14–16, 2026 for a private event. The Museum Store will remain open to the public from 3rd Street.
Please search our library catalog to identify items of interest, then include your request list on this form or send it to library@sfmoma.org. Once we have confirmed the availability of your requests, we will be in touch to schedule your visit. In limited cases, we may provide scans instead (scan requests can also be submitted through ILL). Please expect a response within three to five workdays.
All library materials are non-circulating and public requests are paged from our stacks by library staff. Materials stored offsite at our Collections Center require a longer delivery time. To allow adequate time for paging, please submit your appointment request at least one week in advance of the date you would like to visit.
