Learn more and RSVP for individual events with The Sea Ranch Association. Accommodations not included.
Designed by a small group of Bay Area architects and designers in the early 1960s, the Sea Ranch development was envisioned as a progressive and inclusive community guided by the idealistic principles of good design, economy of space, and harmony with the natural environment. Complementing SFMOMA’s exhibition The Sea Ranch: Architecture, Environment, and Idealism, The Sea Ranch Association invites visitors to experience the coastal community firsthand, with two days of onsite free activities (accommodations are not included).
The weekend’s itinerary includes a walking tour, visits to private residences featured in SFMOMA’s exhibition, a panel discussion with SFMOMA curators, and more.
