Collections Center Open House

Higher education faculty from colleges, universities, and art schools are invited to an Open House at SFMOMA’s Collections Center, home to the museum’s archives and much of the museum’s collection when not on public view. Starting September 6, 2016, the Collections Center will offer tours and object study sessions, providing students opportunities for deep engagement with the museum’s collections. The Open House will introduce faculty to our offerings and include a tour of the center’s full-scale mock-up gallery, conservation studio, photo studio, and flexible white box space, available for lectures, performances, and receptions. The mock-up gallery will be installed with a sample object study session. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
