Step into the living history and forming future of the Bay Area voguing community. Curated by Sir Joq, Eternal Echoes II: The Kiki Ball is a celebration, remembrance, and honoring of the Queer pioneers, artists, nightclub visionaries, activists, performers, and cultural shapeshifters that built the spirit of San Francisco. Rooted in ballroom culture and inspired by the city’s legacy of radical self-expression, liberation, nightlife, performance, and chosen family, this kiki ball bridges generations through movement, fashion, music, and storytelling.
The evening features an opening ceremony, musical performances, and drag performances from legendary nightlife and drag pioneers. From there, the night shifts into an open kiki ball competition, in which participants can walk in a selection of categories. Kiki balls are celebratory, all-ages opportunities for new and established performers to share their skills in a supportive space.
