This event takes place on a First Thursday when the museum is free to Bay Area Residents.

The Amy Sherald: American Sublime exhibition honors the rich cultural legacy and boundless creativity of Black individuals, exploring themes of empowerment, resilience, and identity. Inspired by this dynamic exhibition, Eternal Echoes presents an immersive celebration of Black beauty, excellence, and artistry, where fashion, vogue, music, and visual art collide. Through movement, sound, and design, Eternal Echoes invites audiences to witness the sublime beauty of Blackness in all its forms, challenging perceptions and redefining what it means to exist at the intersection of art and culture.

Performers

  • Victorino Bis aka “C. Quinn” (Vogue Performer): A multimedia artist known for voguing and fashion, C. Quinn has performed for various LGBTQ+ entities and campaigns.
  • Melissa Dufort (Opera Singer): A Haitian American mezzo-soprano, Melissa has performed with the SF Opera Chorus and will star in Harlem Voices this spring.
  • Algin Ford aka “DJ Align” (DJ): ALIGN is a DJ, curator, and artist who creates safe spaces with Afro house, Amapiano, and Vogue Beats, among other genres.
  • Aurris Garçon (Drag/Vogue Dancer): A ballroom and drag artist, Aurris shines as a dancer, choreographer, and creator in the Bay Area.
  • Khalillah Hill aka “KhaliBud” (R&B Singer): Khalibud blends jazz, soul, and grassroots hip-hop with heartfelt performances that inspire love and positivity.
  • ­Wilford Kelley (Opera Singer): Wilford Kelly is a nonbinary bass-baritone who shares the transformative power of music as a performer with the SF Opera Chorus.
  • Newoncé (Drag Performer): A powerhouse drag artist, DJ, and co-founder of BIMBOS.tv, Newoncé inspires through her performances and community work.
  • Jean Omen: A multidisciplinary artist, DJ, performer, and founder of Renaissance Entertainment, Jean Omen fosters safe spaces for Black and queer communities through the arts.
  • Jocquese Whitfield aka “Sir JoQ” (Curator/Host/Vogue Dancer): San Francisco’s first Vogue instructor and a cultural trailblazer featured in major productions and collaborations.
