The exhibition Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adams: Natural Affinities highlights both the friendship and the shared aesthetics of two of America’s most celebrated artists. In this conversation, O’Toole, Phillips, and Turnage consider the artist circles in which the two met and circulated, and how these key relationships contributed to the developing shape of modernist art-making in America.
