Sultan, whose photographic series The Valley was recently on view at SFMOMA, has emerged as a major artist over the last 30 years, creating complex pictures that are at times humorous, at times provocative, but that always reward careful observation. At this special luncheon, Sultan gives a talk about his work over the past 20 years, following remarks by Keller.
