All advance tickets have been reserved for this event. However, we anticipate releasing a limited number of free tickets at the door of the YBCA theater shortly before the program. The entire program will also be live streamed free of charge in SFMOMA’s Phyllis Wattis Theater, just across the street.

For the first time in public, Dykers, one of the principals of architecture firm Snøhetta, will unveil and discuss new details of the design for SFMOMA’s expansion. This is an extraordinary opportunity to glimpse SFMOMA’s future. Formed in 1989, Snøhetta is known for what one critic called an “architecture of engagement”: innovative, dynamic, stunning structures that bring communities together and deliver compelling cultural experiences. Key Snøhetta projects include the New National Opera in Oslo and the National September 11 Memorial and Museum Pavilion in New York.
