Seen through the gaze of a curious eleven-year-old girl, My Memories of Old Beijing is Director Wu Yigong's homage to a China sixty-years gone. My Memories of Old Beijing is based on writer Lin Haiyin's childhood as a young girl in 1920s Beijing. The film looks into China's irretrievable past now only accessible through fractured and melancholic memory.
