Slow Art Day

Saturday, April 27, 2013, 1:00 p.m.

In collaboration with international grassroots organization Slow Art Day, SFMOMA challenges you to devote ten uninterrupted minutes to looking at a single work of art slowly. Join SFMOMA Open Space regulars Tess Thackara, Emily Wilson, and Duane Deterville for a round of slow looking: look at and consider five works of art for ten minutes each, followed by conversation and refreshments.

Can’t make it on April 27? Take part in our slow-looking experiences on Open Space, Tumblr, and Twitter.
