Teaching in the Museum

This introductory session explores strategies for touring middle and high school students in the museum. Teachers will participate in a model tour to practice strategies for looking and discussion, hear from other teachers who are experienced in designing field trips, and plan their own tour stop. This workshop also includes resources for planning your visit. Recommended for teachers who want to facilitate their own field trip to the museum, and have little experience in guiding students to look at and discuss art.
