Transitions: San Francisco Art Institute MFA Films

The San Francisco Art Institute presents a wideranging selection of films and videos created by this year’s graduating master of fine arts students. SFAI’s 2010 class of emerging artists and filmmakers represent a generation whose artistic lexicon has been informed, in an unprecedented way, by the predominance and ubiquity of the moving image. Each of the works in this program encourages viewers to reflect not only on experiments in audiovisual form, but also on the communicative impulses that impel such experiments.
