The museum is organizing the artist’s first posthumous major exhibition, Ruth Asawa: Retrospective, on view April 5–September 2, 2025, which showcases the entire spectrum of Ruth Asawa’s awe-inspiring practice and how her activism transformed the arts and arts education in the Bay Area and beyond.
