Digital Membership Cards
Your membership card is going digital! Members with iOS devices can now download a digital version of their membership card and use it for general admission at the museum. You no longer need to worry about finding your physical card before you visit, and now your membership can be paper-free.

How can I add the digital membership card to my iPhone?
Are digital membership cards available for Android users?
Our digital member cards are currently only available to iOS (Apple) users, but we plan to add support for Android users in the future. While we are working on supporting digital cards for all types of phones, Android devices users can ask for a physical card by contacting our Member Services team at membership@sfmoma.org or 415.357.4135.
Can I use my digital membership card in place of a ticket?
For general admission, you can use your digital membership card as a ticket at the entry podiums on Floor 2. For special exhibitions with timed entry or special events, you will need separate tickets, which can be reserved at tickets.sfmoma.org or at the Ticketing Desk on Floor 2. Please note that photo ID is also required for entry.
Will my physical membership card still work?
Yes. While digital membership cards will become the default for new and renewing members, we will still accept physical membership cards at the museum, as long as your membership information has not changed.
I would still like a physical membership card. Can one be mailed to me?
Yes. Please notify our Member Services team at membership@sfmoma.org or 415.357.4135, and we will be happy to mail a replacement membership card to you.
