SFMOMA Announces Return To Regular Hours And Final Chance To See magritte On Free Tuesday

As part of the Free Tuesday program, Tuesday, September 5, 2000, the first Tuesday of the month, is a free day at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA). September 5 is also the final day to view the popular Magritte exhibition. The Museum will extend its summer hours (10 a.m.–6 p.m.) for one day to accommodate visitors who wish to see this exhibition one last time.

On Thursday, September 7, 2000 SFMOMA will return to regular operating hours, opening to the public at 11 a.m. daily (except Wednesdays when the Museum is closed).

Open daily (except Wednesdays) 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
Open late Thursdays 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Open daily 10:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
Open late Thursdays until 9:30 p.m.

Caffè Museo

Open daily (except Wednesdays) 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Open late Thursdays until 9 p.m.

Closed Wednesdays

SFMOMA galleries, MuseumStore and Caffè Museo are closed on the following public holidays:

Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
