SFMOMA Open Wednesday, December 26, 2001

Released: December 01, 2001 ·

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) will be open on Wednesday, December 26, 2001 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Usually closed on Wednesdays, SFMOMA will offer visitors an extra day during the holiday season to view several exhibitions, including the extraordinarily popular Ansel Adams at 100, which closes on January 13, 2002. Also on view are Ultrabaroque: Aspects of Post–Latin American Art, which features a rich selection of works by 16 artists from South America, Mexico and the United States; Judith Rothschild: An Artist’s Search, a retrospective of the New York-based artist; and Points of Departure II: Connecting with Contemporary Art, which presents works from the Museum’s permanent collection, including recent important acquisitions, in an unconventional, thematic way.
