SFMOMA's Modern Art Council Presents "passage To India," An Exotic Celebration Of The East Evening To Include Salute To SFMOMA Art Tour Leader Margy Boyd October 10, 2000

What
This fundraising evening evoking the grandeur of exotic India will include a salute to retiring San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) art tour leader and India connoisseur Margy Boyd, the first president of the Museum’s Modern Art Council auxiliary. The SFMOMA Atrium will be transformed by the design firm i.de.as into a scene of palatial India with lush fabrics, textiles, pillows, objets d’art, symbolic images of India and elaborate food displays created by McCall and Associates caterers. Guests are invited to dress in traditional Indian attire and will be entertained by Kalanjali: Dancers of India.
