This photograph, taken in late 1960 or early 1961, is the first known image of Collection in its second state, after Rauschenberg had added all of the elements present in the work as we know it today. The Swedish journal Konstrevy published this photo with a 1961 article on Rauschenberg by Swedish artist Öyvind Fahlström (1928–1976). The Konstrevy reproduction marks the first time the artwork appeared in a publication.
