Dominic Willsdon, curator of education and public programs at SFMOMA, talks about artist and educator László Moholy-Nagy and his piece Vom Funkturm (From the Radio Tower) of 1929. He admires the “matter-of-fact“ quality of Moholy-Nagy's work and describes the photograph as an emblem of “truth-telling, modernity, and a belief in technology.“Remember the end of Manhattan, when Woody Allen asks himself what makes life worth living? In January 2010, during SFMOMA's three-day 75th anniversary celebration, 75 people from the Bay Area creative community gave extremely short talks — 7.5 minutes or less! — on a single collection work of their choosing.
