2014 Bay Area Treasure Award Dinner Honoring Jony Ive

SFMOMA’s Modern Art Council celebrates the groundbreaking accomplishments of designer Jony Ive with the 2014 Bay Area Treasure Award. Now in its 15th year, the annual lifetime achievement award recognizes artists and creative leaders in the region whose contributions have redefined contemporary visual culture. As the driving force behind the look and feel of Apple products, Ive is one of today’s most innovative and influential design minds, and his revolutionary work has transformed our visual world.

Guests of the Bay Area Treasure Award Dinner will enjoy:

  • An exclusive conversation with honoree Jony Ive; Frances Anderton, host, DnA: Design and Architecture, KCRW; and Jennifer Dunlop Fletcher, Helen Hilton Raiser Associate Curator of Architecture and Design, SFMOMA
  • An exquisite seated dinner at the Julia Morgan Ballroom
  • Invitation to the Bay Area Treasure Launch Party at Paul Smith, San Francisco, on September 22

Design Society tickets are $15,000 per table or $1,500 per individual. Grand Benefactor tickets are $10,000 per table or $1,000 per individual. Benefactor tickets are $650 per individual. A limited number of Patron tickets are available at $400 per individual.

Guests at the Design Society and Grand Benefactor levels will also receive invitations to an exclusive design event in advance of October 30, invitations to the Grand Benefactor Reception immediately prior to the Bay Area Treasure Award Dinner program, premium seating at the Bay Area Treasure Award Dinner, and recognition in the invitation and program.

Proceeds from this event benefit SFMOMA’s On the Go exhibitions and education programs.
