From Marcel Duchamp’s Fountain to Gordon Matta-Clark’s Splitting: Four Corners, modern artists have experimented with new materials to expand the form and content of their work. This slide lecture and exhibition tour focuses on how nontraditional, real-world materials were used to create many of the landmark works in Treasures of Modern Art.

Free with Museum admission. Seating is limited.
