Six Lines of Flight is an exhibition featuring key artists from around the world who have developed unique artistic organizations and/or collectives in six different cities that have contributed to their own communities and helped each city to become a burgeoning art center. A year prior to the exhibition’s fall 2012 opening at SFMOMA, the artists gather in a rare opportunity to introduce their organizations to a broader San Francisco audience. Each artist will present on his or her organization and discuss it in relation to the art scene in its city.
