Working exclusively in white, Robert Ryman emphasizes the relationships between painted surface, underlying compositional structure, and the wall plane itself. This New Work exhibition features Ryman’s The Charter Series, a project commissioned by noted Chicago collector Gerald S. Elliott that comprises five works made from large fiberglass and aluminum panels. Presented together in a single gallery, they create a complete, meditative environment.
