One Day at a Time: Susan O’Malley and Leah Rosenberg

May 29, 2021–March 6, 2022
Floor 2

The enduringly relevant practices of Bay Area friends and sometime collaborators Susan O’Malley (1976–2015) and Leah Rosenberg (b. 1979) reflect a deep, almost radical optimism. Whether through text, color, or daily rituals, their work is characterized by a belief in art’s ability to affect people’s lives for the better.

This exhibition features O’Malley’s Advice from My 80-Year-Old Self (2015) and Rosenberg’s Where Once Was None (2015), alongside new gifts from O’Malley’s friends and family.
