Phyllis Wattis Theater, screening is free

Batkid Begins, presented in collaboration with SFFILM, tells the story of the day San Francisco came together to transforms itself into Gotham City for five-year-old cancer survivor Miles Scott.

Free Family Days are a long-standing SFMOMA tradition, created to broaden the museum experience for families in the museum’s local communities and beyond. Educational programming, performances and collaborations with local partners create a unique opportunity for visitors of all ages to engage with the museum in a way that makes them a part of the artistic process. Much more than a free day at the museum, Free Family Days are culturally immersive and educational experiences to be enjoyed by all audiences.

Free Family Days are generously supported by the John & Marcia Goldman Foundation and the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District.
