Calling all K-pop fans! Rooftop Radio is back, with a special night of K-pop music, dance, and community celebrating the opening of RM x SFMOMA: Between You and Me.
Move to exhilarating dance covers by Bay Area icons alongside drag performances hosted by Sassi Fran, performer and producer of NUNA at The Stud. To keep the party going, three DJs specializing in K-pop will keep you dancing throughout the night.

A ticket is required to attend Rooftop Radio. Advance online ticket reservations are encouraged. A limited number of tickets will be available on-site on the day of the event starting at 3 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets cannot be resold.

Sassi Fran
Sassi Fran is a drag performer, producer, and choreographer based in San Francisco. She is one of the co-founders of K-Pop-Up, a local San Francisco K-pop dance class, group, and community, which has been active for nine years. Sassi teaches both K-pop dance and jazz funk and is also the producer and host of NUNA, a Queer K-pop dance party and drag show at The Stud in San Francisco.
DJ CAZU
DJ CAZU is a product of the Bay Area, Okinawa, and San Diego. When he is behind the decks, his personality and aura radiate a distinct mix of creativity, charisma, and confidence that is uniquely his own. Influenced by open-format DJs such as Neil Armstrong and Miles Medina, CAZU seamlessly and effortlessly blends recent releases with timeless classics across eras and genres.
Specializing in K-pop, he has electrified dance floors throughout the Bay Area, Sacramento, Anaheim, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Seattle, Phoenix, and Las Vegas. He also brings K-pop dance enthusiasts together by hosting Random Play Dance. His craft is deeply rooted in celebrating community and connection through music and dance.
DJ AyumiPlease
AyumiPlease is a pan-genre party DJ, event coordinator, and nightlife personality currently residing in San Jose. An activist and community organizer for over twenty-five years, the main focus of their work is developing and implementing safe and accepting environments for people who identify within the LGBTQ+ spectrum.
DJ Peter Lo
DJ Peter Lo is a Bay Area staple when it comes to K-pop music and culture. Since 2008, he has produced and hosted K-pop parties and events across Northern California, from nightclub takeovers to community gatherings and citywide celebrations, building much of the infrastructure the region’s K-pop scene now runs on, including as founder of the Bay Area K-pop Facebook group. His perspective on the genre and its cultural reach has been sought outside the club as well, including as a featured guest on KQED, the San Francisco Chronicle, and several K-pop and music podcasts. Off the decks, Peter produces and co-hosts The Kpopcast, a weekly podcast reflecting his standing in the community and his ongoing study of the genre’s artists and history.
Groobeu
GROOBEU (GROO브) is a Bay Area–based K-pop cover dance group formed by In the Groove Studios. The name is composed of the word “groove” and its Korean spelling, 그루브, to form GROO브 or the romanized spelling GROOBEU. The name represents the roots of their dancing at In the Groove Studios as well as their appreciation of K-pop and Korean language and culture.
K-Pop-Up
K-Pop-Up SF is a San Francisco–based dance class and cover group founded in 2017. Their classes are weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays, and are inclusive of all ages, dance levels, and backgrounds. Their dance covers are open to anyone who’s taken one of their classes. They also host various K-pop events each year, helping provide performance opportunities to Bay Area dance teams and a fun experience for all K-pop fans.
Homeground Dance
Homeground Dance is a collective formed in Northern California in 2023 comprised of friends who met through their experiences doing K-pop covers. Now, they produce dance videos and live performances of K-pop covers and original choreography. Homeground means “a place where one is intimately familiar; a place that brings safety and confidence.” They aim to be a team that can explore their relationship with dance through video projects while growing together as people and as performers. They welcome you to their journey and hope you enjoy what you see on their home ground.
ECLIPSE
Formed in 2016, ECLIPSE is a Bay Area dance team comprised of students and professionals of diverse ages and backgrounds. Now approaching ten years, the group continues to bring people together through K-pop, sharing that love and passion through dance covers and themed stage performances — while creating a space where members connect beyond the music.
Tsunomi Punoni
Tsunomi Punoni is a trans Filipina and Indo-Fijian creative, activist, and performer committed to serving their community and fighting for trans rights, queer rights, and the rights of all marginalized communities. They take pride in both of their cultures using it as an outlet to express themselves in their works and in life. Tsunomi Punoni has worked with the Trans March, Lotus Project, and QTAPI Week organizations helping uplift QTAPI and BIPOC voices.
Skirt Cocaine
Skirt Cocaine is a producer, drag king, videographer, and natural DIY creative in the Los Angeles scene, embodying Asian masculinity while looking opulent up and down the West Coast for over eight years.
Artista Bomb
Artista Bomb is an up-and-coming drag singer and performer from the House of Gape! Inspired by pop divas and her Filipina American heritage, Artista is an absolute bombshell both on the stage and backstage! Be prepared for drama, glamour, and shenanigans because the BOMB.com will be serving all of that AND more.
Xanni Phantum
Hauntingly beautiful punk rock idol Xanni Phantum is a fantastical drag performer with an “X” factor who’s known to give you tight choreography, lots of energy, a whimsical cosplay on occasion, and much more!
Mojo Carter
Mojo Carter is the self-identified Drag Princess of San Francisco. Originally from New York, her blend of East and West Coast drag blends together with her visuals and high performance! It’s always a treat when she gets on stage!
